During the lock down I decided to complete a project I have named Rise Up. My desire was to produce, write and perform all songs utilizing some collaborations (virtually) to support my ideas. Special thanks to Michael Peck for his amazing lyrics and friendship, JP Goss for his heart felt poem ‘Circles’ I adopted to the project, Wendy Lee for the magical moments creating our song Rise Up, Mark Jacobson for his friendship, many, many contributions, and especially backing vocals, Mitch Stein for extraordinary keyboards (Circles, Doubt), Kevin Hayes for drums (Up&Down), Dewayne Pate for bass (Up&Down, Part You Play), Gawain Mathews for adding guitar, slide, Dobro, mandolin and molding/mixing it all magically together, Steve Savage for his amazing mixing (like all my previous Acoustic Son projects).

Here are 11 new songs that have been born out of this desire. I have released this project under Ken Kingsbury where you will soon be able to find it on your favorite listening platforms.
